Flags were placed on graves of 696 veterans this month by members of the Bluffton American Legion Post 382. On Monday the post conducted Memorial Day events. Lawrence Huffman, Lima attorney, spoke during the service at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Perhaps the oldest annual tradition in Bluffton - the Bluffton High School commencement, took place for the 133th time on May 24 in the BHS gym. Click here for a video of the processional.

Kenneth R. Adams, 86 of Ottawa, died May 23, 2014, at the Meadows at Putnam Acres, Ottawa. Arrangements are pending at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
Bluffton Community Preschool is now accepting enrollment for the 2014-15 program year, according to Shelly Matijevich, director. Classes are for preschool youth ages 3 to 5. Classes are held in First United Methodist Church, 116 Church St., Bluffton.
