Children experience the world through the sounds around them, from a parent's voice and classroom lessons to music, sports and play. Healthy hearing is important for speech and language development, learning and social interaction. While hearing loss is often associated with aging, it can affect children as well, and in many cases, it is preventable.
Here are the Bluffton Pirate volleyball rosters for the fall 2026 season. The teams are coached by Varsity Head Coach Kevin King; Varsity Assistant Coach Rachel Diller; and JV Head Coach Mikayla Simons.
From 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, Bluffton will host Play Music on the Porch Day performances (a.k.a. Porch Fest), as part of an international live music celebration. First introduced to Bluffton as a Bluffton Public Library spinoff from weekly jam sessions, Bluffton's Erik Reneker began coordinating multiple musical acts and host locations in the village in 2024.
For this third annual event, there will be 20 hosts and 30 musical acts, with some playing at two locations.
BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys soccer team tied visiting WBL foe Elida 1-1 in a non-league match at Steinmetz Field on Thursday, August 27.
The Pirates ran their record to 3-1-1 overall with the tie. Elida is now 0-1-1 after the result.
Bluffton’s Ashton Ungashick scored the Pirate goal with just nine seconds remaining in the first half. Chase Kelly assisted on the goal that broke a scoreless knot and gave the hosts a 1-0 edge at intermission.
