“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” ― Edgar Degas

There's no need to visit a famous art museum this month. All the art you need is on exhibit all month at the Bluffton Public Library.

The library's annual student art showcase is on display at the library. A launch party take place at 6 p.m., Monday, March 5.

The event allows patrons to view artwork from our young community artists, and enjoy light refreshments.

Students with artwork on display are invited to bring along their family members and friends to show off their creation.

Rachel Mathewson knows that it's important to stay active. One way she achieves this is by running. Last week she talked about her running experiences during a freshman gym class at Bluffton High School. She also talked with students in a middle school gym class. (Jamie Nygaard photo)
