The Wild Steelions steel drum band gave two Christmas performances on Dec. 23. The photo shows Jacob Bassett, Connor Daugherty and Isabella Mancuso of the group performing at Vancrest of Ada. Later in the afternoon the band performed at Maple Crest, Bluffton. Bethel Church of Christ
Candlelight service is at 7 p.m. on Christmas eve. Worship on Christmas Day is at 10 a.m. Bethel is located at 4014 CR 304, old Route 30.
Bluffton Baptist Church
The congregation’s Christmas eve service is at 7 p.m. There will be no service on Sunday, Dec. 25.
The Board of Trustees of Bluffton Public Library will hold its annual organizational meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers, set the 2017 meeting schedule and approve temporary authorizations for 2017, according to Jessica Hermiller, library director.
Bluffton council moves its meeting dates in 2017. Meetings will take place at 8 p.m., on the second and fourth Mondays. (In 2016 meetings were held on the first and third Mondays.)
