BFR Sports and Fitness invites Icon viewers to this winter’s Keeping Active Kick-off from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, according to Carole Enneking.

OPEN THE KEEPING ACTIVE CALENDAR OF EVENTS IN THE ATTACHMENT BELOW.

Keeping Active includes six weeks of free use of the BFR indoor track, free attendance to group fitness classes, free access to recreational activities and free participation in learning session on exercise and nutrition as scheduled.

Anita L. (Augsburger) Topp, 66, of Delphos, died on Sunday Jan. 4, 2015, at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. 

She was born July 3, 1948, in Bluffton, to Denver and Pauline (Showalter) Augsburger. Both preceded her in death. She married John Vogt on Jan. 17, 1970,  and he preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1988. She then married Larry Topp on Nov. 26, 1994, he survives in Delphos.

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) does it again!

Willow Ridge of MHCO was named 13th highest in the State of Ohio according to the results of the 2014 Ohio Department of Aging Resident Nursing Home Family Satisfaction Survey.

Daren Lee, director of Maple Crest Senior Living Village and MMH Independent Living, said that those survey results were released this month.

Willow Ridge, featuring the first Green House Homes in Ohio, scored a 94.6% satisfaction score to achieve its ranking. 

Bluffton High School sophomores will visit Apollo Career Center this month.

BHS students will be among the nearly 650 sophomores in Apollo Career Center¹s 11-member district to visit Apollo during 411Blast, Friday, Jan. 30.

Parents of sophomore students interested in attending Apollo for the 2015-16 school year are also invited to attend.
