The score, however, does not show how well the visitors battled in this contest as the Purple Raiders only outshot the Beavers 13-10. The win pushed the home team to 4-2 on the campaign, while the Beavers dropped to 1-5.

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Bluffton University volleyball team struggled to make a dent in the Thomas More armor on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, falling in straight sets to a Saints squad that improved to 11-1 on the season. Bluffton fell to 11-3 with its second straight setback after kicking off the season 11-1.
The Bluffto PTO will hold a bake sale at the elementary from 6 to 7 p.m. during the Sept. 22 open house, according to Melissa Knauss of the PTO
"The PTO committee will be selling baked goods by donation. Anyone, who wishes to donate a baked good, can drop it off at the school on Monday, during school hours, and place in the teachers' lounge, or just bring the baked good to the start of open house at 6 p.m. that evening," she said.
