Where did you grow up? Where did you go to high school and when did you graduate?

I grew up in Ft. Jennings in Putnam County. I went to high school at Ft. Jennings High School and also attended Vantage Vocational School my junior and senior year. I graduated from both schools in 1996.

Tell us about your childhood. What were some of your interests, after-school activities, etc.?

The Bluffton University track and field programs returned to action this weekend after the long layoff from winter break. The Beavers traveled to the campus of Capital University to compete in the Capital Challenge. Both the men and women left the track with multiple personal bests.

The Bluffton University men’s basketball team held Anderson University to 15 points in the first half en route to a convincing 67-45 victory on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. Bluffton improved to 6-9 overall and 2-6 in the HCAC with its second straight win, while Anderson fell to 7-8 overall and 3-5 in the HCAC.

The Bluffton University women’s basketball team dominated Anderson University from start to finsh in a 79-64 victory over the Ravens on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. Bluffton improved to 8-7 on the year and 3-5 in Heartland Conference. Anderson slipped to 4-11 overall and 3-5 in HCAC.

Melting snow and a weekend of rainfall is rising the Riley. As of Sunday evening, the Little Riley was beginning to flood the old baseball diamond below the library. 

The Big Riley had very swift moving water and also continued to rise.

While all this causes concern in Bluffton, the communities of Ottawa and Findlay are also watching the rising waters of the Blanchard.
