Friends of the Bluffton Public Library's spring book sales is coming.
The sale runs from Wednesday, May 11, through Saturday, May 14.
Times follow:
• Wednesday, May 11, (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.),
• Thursday, May 12, (9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.),
• Friday, May 13, (9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and
• Saturday, May 14, (9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

The club's next meeting is at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, at the Bluffton Public Library. Bill Jones, Hancock County master gardener, will speak on phenology gardening, which shows how the climate and its changes affect plants and animals in our area.
Susan Lehman Sommer, 68, of Tremont, Ill., died at 2:56 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1947, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Carl M. and Sarah Miller Lehman. She married James T. Sommer on Aug. 18, 1968, in Bluffton; he survives.
Stephan Johnson of Ada will entertain at this year's Bluffton Arts and Crafts Show. Johnson plays the Irish bagpipe. He will be at the show at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, and will do a walk-through the show area.
