Every model of car imaginable was parked in the Bluffton Public Library in March.
During the month, children visiting the Bluffton Public Library were encouraged to guess how many toy cars were in the children's display case near the Preschool Discovery Room, according to Lauren Canaday, public services coordinator at the library.
Sunday, June 21, the GOBA (Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure) comes to Bluffton for an overnight stay. The estimate of the total number of bikers is around 2,500. Most of these bikers will tent on the Bluffton University campus or sleep in Burcky Gym.
Ernest Wiens Neufeld, 82, of Mountain Lake, Minn., died April 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.
Neufeld was born June 12, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to John T. and Catherine (Wiens) Neufeld. He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Kelly High school in 1950.
He attended Bluffton College and graduated in 1954. He continuing at Bethany Theological Seminary, Chicago, and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Ind.

Bluffton University’s Alumni Field project, to install artificial turf and resurface and upgrade the running track and field event areas at Salzman Stadium, is now scheduled for completion in time for the fall 2015 sports seasons.
Bluffton alumni and friends have contributed more than $750,000 for the improvements, whose expected completion date is Aug. 1, also in time for fall preseason practice. A leadership team of 13 alumni athletes, friends and university trustees contributed gifts of $10,000 or greater, totaling $410,000.
