Bluffton Exempted Village Schools will have a two-hour delay on Thursday, Jan. 29. Teachers and administrators will work on the implementation of the new “Common Core Standards” with “Formative Instructional Practices.”
Teachers and administrators will be receiving over 25 hours of training this school year to prepare for this state adopted curriculum.

Bluffton University has named Rhonda Gottschalk as its head women’s soccer coach.
Gottschalk, an assistant coach at Bowling Green State University the last two years, is the first full-time head coach in Bluffton women’s soccer history. Patrick (Rick) Nussbaum has been both the head men’s and women’s soccer coach since 2010 and, with the duties now split, has become the first full-time head coach of the men’s program.
It was 85 Bluffton High School graduations ago. The "old" addition to the high school wasn't even constructed when the BHS class of 1930 received their diplomas.
Members of this class knew the meaning of the Great Depression, having graduated just months after the October 1929 stock market crash.
