LUNCH SPECIALS, April 15-18

Bluffton's annual ecumenical Good Friday procession with the cross and an ecumenical service is scheduled for Good Friday, April 18, and will again be sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association.

The procession with the cross will begin at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. 

The order of the procession will be: 
• St. Mary's Catholic Church
• St. John’s United Church of Christ
• English Lutheran 
• Bluffton Presbyterian 
• First Mennonite and finally
• First United Methodist.

Kerry Bush, a Bluffton University senior graphic design major, wants to promote Fair Trade businesses in Bluffton. She hopes to create a Fair Trade Buyers Guide for shoppers to look through and use as a reference for Fair Trade products and businesses in Bluffton.
The project is a requirement for her independent study class for her major.

Derek Dukes picks a raffle winner from the contestant entries during Saturday's Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce fireworks bowling fundraiser. The event took place at Southgate Lanes. The chamber will realize more than $500 for fireworks when all the expenses are accounted four. Eight teams completed and the winning team was Luke's Bar and Grill.

Trinity Lutheran Church invites the public to attend the following services at 301 North Main Street, Jenera.

Palm Sunday services on April 13 will be at 8 and 10:30 a.m. with Sunday school and Bible class for all ages beginning at 9:20 a.m. Pastor Jeff Bolwerk will preach on the theme “Our Humble King Comes to Save.” The students of Trinity Lutheran School and the adult choir will sing “Hosanna!”
