Ada's current most famous person is Zac Dysert. He is an Ada High School grad and recent Miami (Ohio) grad. This spring he was drafted by the Denver Bronco and made the 53-team cut in late August. To be certain, he tossed passes for Ada High School against Bluffton about five seasons ago.

Loyd W. Agin, age 83, died on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6:40 pm at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born on August 11, 1930 in Ada, Ohio to Elmer Loyd and Mary Susan (Wherry) Agin and they preceded him in death. On August 4, 1961 he married Mary Beatrice "Bea" Griffith and she survives in Ada.

Loyd previously worked for Buckeye Pipeline. He worked at McCurdy Steel Product where he designed and built grain elevators. He retired from Ford Motor Company Lima Engine Plant where he worked as a welder in skilled trades.

-Police responded to the 300 block of Cherry St in response to an unruly juvenile.
August 2
-A County Line Rd Resident reported that her ex-husband was harassing her.  
August 4
-A Bluffton Resident reported that a juvenile on Garmatter St. was refusing to return their property.  
August 5
-Officers responded to the Bluffton Post Office in response to an irate customer.
-A Spring St. Resident reported bicycles were stolen from their residence.  

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, September 25,  from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.

The meal this month is provided by the Rebecca Circle and will be Ham, potatoes, green beans,dessert and beverage.

All are welcome.

The next American Red Cross blood drive in Bluffton will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, from noon until 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in the Large Room, located at 160 N. Spring Street.
