On recent days when the Bluffton temperature was in single digits, Buckeye Park seemed deserted. But where there was open water and sunshine, north of the Spring St. bridge, the Icon found several dozen Mallard ducks. Not nice weather for ducks.
During the past year and more, journalist and filmmaker Eddie Arruza has focused his lens on the Village of Bluffton, Ohio. A preview of the resulting film--Bluffton: Portraits of an Undying Town--is found on YouTube HERE. Arruza hopes to premier the film in Bluffton in March 2024.

Dr. Martina Cucchiara, professor of history at Bluffton University, will present the Forum “100 Years: Illuminating Key Moments in the Conflict Between Israel and Palestine,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in Yoder Recital Hall.
