IWFFA president Diane Beruldsen reports that 4 teams will play this year, including teams from Key West and Columbus.
FINDLAY – The Bluffton boys track and field team won the tough 10-team Liberty-Benton Pat Wagner Invitational on a wet Saturday, May 3. The Pirate boys finished with 122 points to defeat second-place meet host L-B (105) by 17 points. Oak Harbor came in third with 85 points, followed by Columbus Grove (70) and Bath (65).
Grove took the girls team crown with 144 points, while the Pirate girls finished a strong second at 119. Oak Harbor ended up a close third with 118, and Bath came in fourth (86.5).

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School baseball team handily defeated visiting non-conference foe North Baltimore 12-2 on Friday, May 2.
The Pirates scored in every inning, capped by a four-run bottom of the sixth, to enact the 10-run mercy rule.
The Pirates improved to 8-10 overall after the lopsided win. The Tigers fell to 7-5 after the decisive defeat.
Bluffton out-hit NB, 9-2. The Pirates drilled three doubles and hit one triple. The hosts led 5-0 after three innings, then stretched the lead to 8-1 after five frames.
