AEP provided The Icon with the following weather information for July 26:
The atmosphere will become hot and extremely unstable ahead of an approaching cold front today. The result will be severe thunderstorms
over much of the Upper Ohio Valley. Scattered severe thunderstorms will erupt early this afternoon across Indiana and northwest Ohio.
Severe storms will become more numerous as they spread southeast across the heart of AEP Ohio late this afternoon. Expect damaging wind gusts to 65 mph over Ohio.
Who are those folks looking in the library window? They are people riding the Mobile Technology Training Center bus. Several free classes are offered on the bus now through Monday. Contact the library for details or read the story below the photo.
There's still time to register for various classes through the Bluffton Public Library while the Mobile Computer Lab is on Main Street.
The Mobile Technology Training Center (bus) is a 35-foot bus equipped with 10 networked PC's, digital display, printer, air conditioning and is handicapped accessible.
According to Cindi Chasse, library administrator, the following free classes are offered:

Thursday - Beginning computers Q & A
Thursday - Explore Office 2010
Rick Skilliter, Bluffton Police Chief, released police reports of the first six months of 2012 to The Icon.
Bluffton's police department has had 2,851 calls for service during the first six months of 2012. Of those, 949 were calls for building checks.
The department had 87 traffic citations given. In its FBI Uniform Crime Reporting data, Bluffton had 154 reports.
