The NCAA Division III recently announced the recipients of Academic All-Ohio honors for the 2011 season. Four Bluffton University soccer players were honored for their performance on the field and in the classroom this season.

Seniors Dan Saville (Toledo/Central Catholic), Andrew Keeler (Bluffton) and Seth Hertenstein (St. Mary's/Memorial) were three of just six Heartland Conference men to be honored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Coaches Association. All three Beavers were named to the third team.

J'aime Stratton

The Icon's newest advertiser promises to put you in shape. J'aime Stratton launched Bluffton Jazzercise this week with classes offered in English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St.

Stratton says Jazzercise is just like it sounds: it's a dance fitness program.

"From 35 to 40 minutes of each session involves aerobics," she said. "And from 20 to 25 minutes includes strength and stretching. We use all types of music to the exercises, which are based in jazz dance, but also offer many moves."

Bluffton's newest business owner started out as a music major at Bluffton College. Rachel Webster, who will open Ideal Images, 114 E. College Ave., (formerly Morey's Coffee Shop) on Jan. 24, switched career choices and eventually found her calling in sales and marketing. The rest of the tune is history.

Ideal Images offers personalized apparel for sports teams and spirit wear, corporations, businesses, team uniforms as well as custom apparel. The selection is seemingly endless. It includes ball caps, tee shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, customized towels, blankets and even socks.
