Staying Well in Cold & Flu Season with Dr. Leah Eiden: Tuesday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bluffton Public Library (main level)
As part of a Health Education series, Dr. Leah Eiden, Family Medicine Provider at Bluffton Primary Care will present a variety of ways to help keep you and your family healthy through the winter. All ages are welcome and there will be time for questions at the end. This program is one in a series of programs offered through the BVHS Speakers Bureau.

Suggested donations are themed gift baskets and/or individual items such as: giftcards, children’s items, (new books, toys, games or craft items), admission tickets (valid in 2019), merchandise for all ages, free services, lessons, lodging, etc. Cash donations are also welcome. The auction begins Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m. and continues through Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Mildred B. Burkholder, 84, of Bluffton died at 10:50 a.m., Oct. 15, 2018, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Millie was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late Lacy and Cloie (Lemaster) Brown. On Aug. 24, 1957, she married David E. Burkholder who preceded her in death on May 10, 2004.
AARP, American Association of Retire Persons, hosts a voter issue forum from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St., according to Toyna Meyer, director.
The program includes a non-partisan discussion of issues on the mid-term election. It is open to the public.

Bluffton Family Recreation's fall youth Session 3 is now open for registrations, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director. Session 3 classes are from Oct. 29 to Nov. 23. Following it is Winter Session 1 with classes from Nov. 26 to Dec. 21.
