The 100th edition of the State Route 12 rivalry game between the Pandora-Gilboa High School and Columbus Grove High School football teams did not disappoint. In the annual showdown between the two neighboring schools, the host Rockets came from behind in the second half, to pull out a thrilling 22-21 non-conference win to open the 2025 season.

While Independence Day is a beloved national holiday, fewer people know about Constitution Week, an annual commemoration of the living document that upholds and protects the freedoms central to our American way of life. This year the annual celebration begins September 17, 2025.
Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, will host the GriefShare Support Group weekly on Thursdays, 7 :00-8:30 p.m. from September 4 through December 4, 2025.
GriefShare is a 13-week, video based support group for those who have lost a loved one. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief.

Cheryl Anise Pingle, 73, passed away August 21, 2025 at Story Point in Findlay. Cheryl was born September 25, 1951 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Wallace and Evelyn (Street) Lugibihl. On June 14, 1969 she married Daniel Pingle who survives.
