Chiles-Laman holds rememberance service Dec. 12
"The holidays can be a particularly difficult time to cope with the loss of a loved one and the Tree of Remembrance Memorial Service provides a forum in which families can come together to express their grief but also find peace for years to come," said Gordon Diller of Chiles-Laman Funeral Home.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Centre at Bluffton, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton, Chiles-Laman Funeral Home will hold a Tree of Remembrance Memorial Service for persons who have lost a loved one this year or in years past.
Beginning at 3 p.m., families in attendance at the service will be presented with a small gift, a glass "Guardian Angel" ornament personalized with the name and dates of their loved one.
"The ornament will be hung on our Christmas tree for the service and then is theirs to take and hang on their Christmas tree or otherwise displayed in commemoration of their loved one," said Jon Kinn of Chiles-Laman.
The Tree of Remembrance Memorial Service is a special service offered to commemorate loved ones during the holiday season. There is no charge to attend the service; however reservations are requested.
For more information about the Tree of Remembrance Memorial Service or to RSVP to the service and reserve a personalized ornament, call 419-358-2051 or email [email protected].
