The library will host a free Mobile Health Clinic provided by ONU HealthWise on Nov. 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. on the lower level of the library.
What is ONU Healthwise? This program is sponsored by Ohio Northern University and employs health care providers to provide the local community with knowledge and resources to address health related concerns and to improve your health.
Bluffton High School Drama Club presents "Bedtime Stories," during two performances later this month.
The play's actual title is "Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed them Up). Performances are 7:30 p.m., (doors open 6:30 p.m.), Saturday, Nov. 18, and 2 p.m. (doors open 1 p.m.), Sunday, Nov., 19, in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.
General admission tickets are available at the door, $4 for adults and $1 for students.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring a residential holiday lighting contest. The judging will take place on Wednesday evening Dec. 6.

Bluffton residents who want their displays to be judged must send a request to [email protected]. The e-mail request must have the family name and address listed.
The e-mail entry assures that your residence will be judged. The judges will also consider displays not formally entered.

Tyler Hostetler, Bluffton police sergeant, updated Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members on the police K-9 unit on Friday. Donations and pledges of over $17,000 have enabled the police department to add a dog, which will occur this spring.
Bluffton has received a $20,000 NatureWorks grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The grant enables the village to replace the existing restroom at the Buckeye Park.
