Bluffton's first-ever cricket match place April 15 in the village park. Here is Praveen Vohra, defending his wicket. Omar Khokar is the wicket keeper. On the left is Danny Tallwar. The bowler (pitcher) is Raj Dua. According to Praveen, the players encourage anyone interested in the sport to join them in their next game. If cricket is not your game, these players can also teach you to play field hockey. In the next photo, to give this game a little color and unknown to Praveen, Omar moved the wicket (an illegal move), to attempt to get him out.

Steven E. Dotson, 51, died April 13, 2017. at his residence. Steven was born Oct. 26, 1965 in Lima to the late Robert and Helen (Nungester) Dotson. 

Steven graduated from Bluffton High School and most recently worked at Diamond Manufacturing in Bluffton. He had also worked at Accubuilt in Lima and Buckeye Body in Beaverdam. Steven enjoyed racing and building race engines.

The Women’s Center of Bluffton Hospital will continue to add services throughout 2017. This is one of those new services.

 

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has officially opened the Pelvic Pain Center part of The Women’s Center of Bluffton Hospital, a new expansion and renovation project.

The Pelvic Pain Center is located in the hospital at at 139 Garau St.

This week from ODOT:
State Route 696 near the Allen County line, west of the village of Pandora, will be restricted through the work zone at times during drainage structure repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.
