Santa will be in Riley Creek Pharmacy, 112 E. Main St., Pandora, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Photos will be taken with Santa and those photos will be emailed to recipients.

After visiting Santa, go next door to First National Bank. Santa's Workshop will be open for fun and crafts for youth.

The holidays can be a particularly difficult time to cope with the loss of a loved one. The Tree of Remembrance memorial service provides a forum where families can come together to express their grief, but also find peace. 

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Centre at Bluffton, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton, Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services will hold a Tree of Remembrance memorial service for those who have lost a loved one this year or in years past. 

Edith Murray, 97 of Bluffton died Dec. 1, 2015 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.  Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will present their Christmas cantata, “Were You There on That Christmas Night?” by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.

The church service, followed by refreshments in the fellowship hall,  are open to the public. The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Kira Davis. The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E. Washington Street in Pandora. Rev. Duane Kemerley is the pastor.

Christmas For Kids will be held at Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera, on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The afternoon will provide children in preschool through fourth grade an opportunity to hear the message of Christmas, along with Christmas crafts, music, refreshments and fun.
