Everett Collier of Bluffton plays the lead character Hoke Colburn in the Van Wert Civic Theatre's production of "Driving Miss Daisy."

Performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-18. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. Sunday's performance is at 2 p.m.

The performance is directed by George Dunster. Jan Miller plays Miss Daisy Werthan and Joe Warnement plays Boolie Werthan.

Bluffton artist, Beverly Amstutz, has created her 2012 Bluffton Blaze of Lights card and it is now available for sale downtown.

The card depicts a Victorian family of carolers. The card is based on this year's Blaze theme, which is "A Victorian Christmas." This is Amstutz's 12 annual Blaze card.

The cards are available at Greg's Pharmacy, 126 N. Main St., for 60 cents each.

Town and Country Flowers, 121 S. Main St., Bluffton has a Winter Wonderland in its shop and all Icon viewers are invited to stop in and see it, according to Connie Kruse of the store.

"Come in a see our Christmas Wonderland. We have silk arrangements, wreaths, swags, jewelry, scarfs, candles, great gift ideams, home decor and much more," she said.

Bluffton Hospital has been named one of only 44 inpatient hospitals in the United States, and one of only six hospitals in Ohio, to receive the 2012 Press Ganey Summit Award for patient satisfaction. Bluffton is the only non-profit critical access acute care hospital in the nation to have received this award for four consecutive years.

Once a year a camel appears on the lawn of the Bluffton Post Office. Although the dromedary is better known for desert climes, Bluffton's camel is a Christmas camel. On the home page is a close up of the camel's eye.
