Bluffton University's annual Bach Festival will include the traditional Bach's Lunch Friday, March 18, and the Bach Festival Concert on Sunday, March 20. Both events are free and open to the public.
The Sunday concert will open at 2:30 p.m. in Yoder Recital Hall with the second annual Mosiman Young Artist Competition. Ten Bluffton students auditioned for the competition on Feb. 21.
Preliminary 2010 census figures released last week show Bluffton's population at 4,125. Of that number 3,952 live in Allen County and 173 live in Hancock County.
The report reveals that of municipalities in Allen County only Bluffton, Beaverdam and Cairo grew from the 2000 census.

The inevitable question: "What can the village do about flooding in Bluffton?" was posed to Bluffton council on Monday.
Although it's on everyone's mind, Morgan and Patsy Davies, who have lived on the corner of Cherry and Vance for over 30 years and have experienced lots of high water in their time there, asked council if anything that can be done to fix the problem.
Fred Rodabaugh, Bluffton mayor, answered by stating that nothing is going to happen very quickly.
