Glen William “Bill” Ramseyer of Bluffton, died on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, after suffering a cardiac event two days earlier.
Bill was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Columbus, Ohio, to Lloyd and Ferne Ramseyer. His older brother Bob (Alice Ruth) preceded him in death. His sister, Mary Jean Wells (Bob), survives him.
Five Bluffton High School artists had works accepted in the Lima ArtSpace Kewpee Art Invitational currently on exhibit in Lima. The show runs through Feb. 27. Vickie Garmon is the BHS art teacher.

The Bluffton University volleyball team took a huge step toward earning a berth in the four-team Heartland Conference tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 17, when the Beavers routed rival Defiance in straight sets! Bluffton pounded the Yellow Jackets (17-16-18) while improving to 5-3 in the HCAC.
Bluffton Public Library’s Mobile Health Clinic scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26. is cancelled.
Ohio Northern University’s Healthwise program will instead visit and offer their regular services the following Friday, March 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. They will also keep their monthly visit on March 26 at the same time.

The Bluffton University woman's basketball team won a close bout Thursday, Feb. 18, against the visiting Transylvania University Pioneers.
The Beavers won by a score of 72-68, improving to 14-4 on the season, while Transylvania fell to 10-6. The Pioneers had won 10 straight over the Beavers, holding a commanding 38-7 advantage in the all-time series.
