AEP construction has resumed along Co. Line Rd. and S.R. 103 requiring daytime road closures, with an additional week of road closure required. S.R. 103/Jefferson will be closed on weekdays from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. ending May 12.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, May 12 on the third floor of the Town Hall.
First National Bank of Pandora is the meeting sponsor and Twisted Whisk Cafe will provide breakfast, which is served at 7:00 a.m.
At 7:30 p.m., announcements and a program on chamber bylaws will be presented. The Chamber board has been working to update bylaws for the organization. A vote to approve updates will be held at the June Breakfast Meeting.
Additionally, Blanchard Valley Health Systems will introduce their new Chief People Officer (CPO), Eric Proctor and Jesse Blackburn, Village Administrator, will update guests on village projects.

Two students were confirmed in the Christian faith on Sunday, May 7, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera. The Confirmands were Gabriella Amber Kretz and Maddisun Ann Wiles.
The achievements of Bluffton University’s class of 2023 were celebrated in Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6.
More than 200 students took part in the university’s 123rd graduation cermonies including traditional undergraduate students, degree-completion graduates, and business and education graduate students.
Frederic P. Andrews, 102, passed away May 6, 2023, at his residence in Beaverdam.
Frederic was born September 27, 1920 in Bluffton, to Paul and Clara (Fett) Andrews who preceded him in death. He later married Orpha (Johnson) Andrews who preceded him in death on June 18, 2006.
