Josh Kauffman, a teacher and athletic director at Pandora-Gilboa from 2012 to 2014, accepted a two-year contract as the new principal of Bluffton Middle School, according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent.
Currently middle school principal at Piqua City Schools – a position he served for the past three years – Kauffman will begin his position here on Aug. 1. His salary at Bluffton is $89,000.
Wessler Engineering and the Village of Bluffton will provide the back story on "Water: Where It Comes From and Where It Goes," at the Friday, June 14, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast, according to Paula Scott, chamber CEO.

Former Bluffton resident, Karen Sue Rodabaugh, now a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, announces her engagement to Mark Allen Varner of Daytona Beach, Florida, previously of Marathon Oil Co in Findlay, Ohio.
Karen and Marks' parents are the late Dr. Franklin and Lois Rodabaugh of Bluffton and Mr. Robert and Nita Varner of Robinson, Illinois.
The wedding will take place at 3 p.m. on June 29, at the Forgiven Church in Macclenny, Florida, with a reception for friends and family to follow at the Glen Venue in Glen Saint Mary, Florida.
