Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed project:

State Route 12, State Route 696, and County Route 6 intersection improvements - ODOT is proposing to purchase right-of-way at the State Route 12, State Route 696, and County Route 6 intersection, just west of the village of Pandora. 

This right-of-way will be used to improve sight distance issues at the intersection for safety purposes and for future maintenance activities along the roadway and roadside.

Pirate frosh Cole Koenig no-hits USV Rams

BLUFFTON - Bluffton freshman hurler Cole Koenig tossed a run-rule shortened no-hitter to defeat visiting USV 12-1 Wednesday evening in non-league baseball action.

Juniors Cayden Rayle and Tucker Neff each collected two hits and two runs batted in to help pace the nine-hit Bluffton offense.

Koenig aided his own cause with a single. Freshman Nick Pratter also added a single. Bluffton also took advantage of six Ram errors to win going away.

Curbing on the north side of Elm Street is being put into place this week. The project is expected to be completed by June 15.

BHS spring musical, April 12-13-14; tickets now on sale

Bluffton High School will present “The Wizard of Oz,” as its spring musical in three shows April 12-13-14.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 14, in the middle school cafetorium.

Reserved seat tickets are $10 and general admission is $5. Tickets are on sale in the middle school office during school hours.

An account of 4 Hutterites imprisoned at Alcatraz, Sunday program

Dora Maendel of Fairholme Hutterite Colony and Dr. Duane Stoltzfus of Goshen College will present “On the Front Line of Conscience: An Account of Four Hutterites Imprisoned at Alcatraz” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall.
