Raymond Scoles, 61, of rural Ada, died at 7:45 pm Nov. 4, 2011 at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born May 19, 1950, in Bluffton to Allen and Anna Montgomery Scoles.
On Oct. 17, 1970, he married Janet Habegger Triplett and they were divorced.
Raymond was a farmer and had worked at Triplett Corp, and Mackintosh Industries both of Bluffton. He was a 1968 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and served in the Army National Guard, Ada Armory.
He was a member of the Columbus Grove Eagles, Ada VFW, and the Findlay Moose.
Bluffton High School's Hannah Chappell-Dick 12 finished 44th of 150 runners in the girls Division III state cross country meet held Nov. 5. Her time was 19:58.64 44.
REALLY enjoy the Icon. Read it before the local paper. THANK YOU, too, for writing your book. I just want to read more! I limited my self to reading a small section every night before bed. Now that it is finished I feel it was a book that anyone who has lived or still live would enjoy.

A Vance St. resident reported that unknown people were in her residence. Officers checked the area and there was no sign of anyone having been there. Drug paraphernalia was also taken from the residence.
A N. Main St. business reported a found a bicycle on its property.
Officers received an envelope containing cash and credit cards that was found on Jackson St.
Jean M. Lewis, 73, died on Nov. 3, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She had recently returned to Bluffton in her retirement.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1938, the daughter of Charles Bernard Lewis and Catherine Bockrath. She graduated from St. Marys High School. She became a registered nurse after completing courses at St. Elizabeth's Nursing School in Dayton. She followed a friend to Cleveland where she met her former husband, Richard Wagner.
