It is with great pride that Edgar and Lisa Wenger of Bluffton, Ohio and Brian and Vicki Williams of Estero, Florida announce the upcoming wedding of their children, Julia Mae Wenger and Lindzey Page Williams. 

Julia was born and raised in Bluffton while Lindzey grew up in Cincinnati. They met attending Xavier University from 2009 to 2013 and earned degrees in Nursing and Sociology, respectively. After completing undergraduate work, Lindzey went on to earn her MBA from their Alma mater in 2015.   Julia is a registered nurse and Lindzey is a Social Worker. 

Bluffton Elementary has issued the following 4th Quarter Honor Roll for the 2021-2022 school year.

4-H club meets next on June 6

The last day to sign up for quality assurance for livestock is June 9. You must complete quality assurance in order to take livestock to the fair.

The Village of Bluffton has updated its meeting schedule to include the following:

Thursday, June 9

  • Pathway Board at noon
  • Airport Commission at 3:00 p.m. at the airport, 1080 Navajo Dr.

Monday, June 13

  • Village Council at 7:00 p.m.

All meetings are at the Town Hall, 154 N. Main St. unless otherwise noted.

The Icon can attest that the Bluffton EMS has been extra busy lately, with all of the public events that require a unit on standby. We’ve seen them in attendance frequently, including the Bluffton Trout Derby and Memorial Day Parade and program.

Street sweepers will be in the Village of Bluffton beginning early on Thursday, June 2. Please remove any vehicles parked on curbed streets to allow the sweepers to do their job.
