Bluffton Relay for Life teams organizing for 2010 event

"Sockhop for a Cure" is the theme of the 2010 Bluffton Relay for Life according to Tracy Steele and John Spaeth, co-chairs of the event. This year's relay is from 3 p.m., Friday, June 26 to 9 a.m., Saturday, June 27. It is held at the Bluffton University Salzman Stadium.
An early-bird team registration is going on now until Jan. 28. Teams that register now have a registration fee of $50 per team of 15. Starting Jan. 29 team registrations are $10 per team member.
Registrations fees go toward a team's goal, according to Steele. The first three relay meeting dates are set. Each meeting is in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall. Committee meetings are at 5:30 p.m. and team meetings at 6:30 p.m.
Meeting dates are: Jan. 28, Feb. 25, March 25.

The 2009 relay held last June raised $24,703.
