Mercy Health - Bluffton Family Medicine

Bluffton’s newest health care provider, Mercy Health – Bluffton Family Medicine, 204 N. Main St., opened its doors on Monday. The health provider is located in the former Groves’ Bears building.

Bluffton Family Medicine provides primary care medicine and walk-in medical care. New patients are being accepted now and appointment schedules are being taken.

Dr. Anna Kauffman, M.D., a Bluffton resident, is the physician on duty. Abbie Nartker is the nurse practitioner on duty.

It appears that some serious prep work is underway for a Bluffton outdoor stairway that will soon get a paint job. For a wider photo shot that identifies the building click on the next photo. It's St. John's United Church of Christ.

State Route 103 just east of Interstate 75, Bluffton, will close Sept. 18 for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Traffic detoured north onto Interstate 75 to state Route 235 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage

It's amazing how much things grow over one summer. Here's a perfect example.

On the final day of the 2016-17 school year each sixth grader in Sue Epp’s science class received a small gift from their teacher.

Mrs. Epp gave each student a small sunflower seed in a Dixie cup.

The Icon’s obtained photos of three sunflower photos from class members– taken on the first day of the 2017-18 school year, and we share those with viewers.

Photos show Abbie Lemley (top), Isaiah Mikesell (center)  and Gavin Kruse (bottom).
