OSU Lutheran worship team at English Lutheran Jan. 31
TEAM INCLUDES RACHEL MOHR OF ENGLISH LUTHERAN CONGREGATION
The worship team of Jacob's Porch will be at English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., at 9 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, according to Rev. Kevin Mohr, pastor.
Jacob's Porch the Lutheran Campus Ministry program at the Ohio State University (Columbus). The name was chosen to represent the ministry as a community of people who wrestle with faith and wonder at what God is calling them to (like Jacob, in the Old Testament) in a comfortable and welcoming atmoshpere, not inside and not outside (just like a porch) -- a place to hang out with God and others on the journey of faith.
One member of the worship team is Rachel Mohr, a senior aviation student at OSU, and daughter of Deborah and Kevin Mohr.
Following worship with Holy Communion, there will be a fellowship brunch in the church basement.
