Barbara Plaugher tells about Haiti trip Feb. 8; flu clinic Feb. 2 at Sr. Center
Barbara Plaugher will speak to the Bluffton Senior Citizens about her recent trip to Haiti and the earthquake she and her group experienced, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Her talk will be at noon, Monday, Feb. 8, during the Center's monthly potluck. Hostesses for the meal are Ruth Bartels and friends. Basil Meyer is the master of ceremonies.
Two members who become 90 will be presented with a life membership at the potluck. They are Leland Lehman and Harley Childs.
Several activities are planned at the Center during February. These include:
Feb. 2 - H1N1 flu vaccine clinic, 9 to 11 a.m.
Feb. 3 - blood pressure clinic, 10 a.m. to noon
Feb. 4 - community meal, 6 p.m., sponsored by S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Club
Feb. 10 - hearing clinic, 10 a.m. to noon
Feb. 15 - Bingo with Elmcroft, 2:30 p.m.
Feb. 18 - community meal, 6 p.m., sponsored by Bluffton Baptist Church
March 23 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., driver's safety program

March 27 - Vaunghsville Dinner Theatre
April 12-17 - Charleston and Savannah
