Registrations underway for kids' night out
Bluffton University recreation students and intramural staff will host Kid's Night Out from 6-10 p.m. March 20. The event is open to children in grades 1-6.
Kid's Night Out is $12 per child if registered by March 18 and $15 at the door. Families who pre-register more than one child pay $10 per child. The money raised from the event will go toward the recreation department's activities.
For registration information contact Tami Forbes, associate professor of health, physical education and recreation, and HPER department chair, at 419-358-3336.
Kid's Night Out allows children in the community to have a fun-filled supervised evening out of the house. Children will be placed in groups by age and will participate in five different stations supervised by Bluffton University recreation students and intramural staff.
There will be refreshments available throughout the evening and each child will receive a door prize including a chance to walk away with one of four brand new bicycles.
