Fleming nursing scholarship available at Mennonite Home
The Mennonite Memorial Home Fund has available a scholarship to persons interested in entering the field of nursing or advancing their degree in nursing.
This scholarship was set up in memory of Barbara Fleming, a nurse, by her family. The Barbara Fleming Scholarship is a minimum of $500 to be paid to the vocational school or college where the student is enrolled.
The scholarship is meant to promote the career of nursing and does not have to be repaid. Therefore the scholarship may be used to work toward a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a degree as a Registered Nurse, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The scholarship is to be used to pay school related expenses toward any of these. Applications may be picked up at The Mennonite Memorial Home office, 410 W. Elm Street, Bluffton, Ohio 45817 or on the web at
http://www.mmhliving.org/aboutUs/BarbaraFlemingScholarship.htm
A committee will meet and review all applications and award the scholarship in April. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 31, 2010. Persons with questions may call the Mennonite Memorial Home at 419-358-1015.
