Krysti's Music Studio presents BGSU pianist in concert on March 7
Krysti's Music Studio presents pianist Christopher Narloch in concert at the First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 7.
Narloch graduated from Viterbo University, earning a BM in Music Performance with a double-emphasis in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy, as well as a minor in Church Music.
He is currently attending Bowling Green State University for a MM in Piano Performance with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy, and he teaches class piano at BGSU as a teaching assistant.
He also teaches private piano lessons at the Perrysburg Music Center. In addition to teaching, he accompanies musicians, plays for events, and performs solo recitals. He is a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and president of Bowling Green Ohio Music Teachers Association, a student branch of OMTA.
Christopher will perform Prelude and Fugue in G Major, WTC II by J.S.Bach, Sonata in C Major, K. 330 by W.A. Mozart, Chromatische Phantasie (1956) by Gy"orgy Ligeti , 'Etude 5: Arc-en-ciel, Book I by Gy"orgy Ligeti, and Symphonic 'Etudes, Op. 13 by Robert Schumann.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be a question and answer time with Narloch for music students after the concert.
