Bluffton encircled by a bike path? This dream may become a reality

A bikepath and walkway completely encircling Bluffton? Maybe. Eventually. The Bluffton council official launched a Pathway Steering Committee focus on that reality on April 28. The group will begin to meet and discuss the long-term plans and logistics of constructing a bike and pedestrian pathway throughout and around the village of Bluffton.
The committee~Ac^a'not^a"cs chairperson is Richard Ramseyer. Laura Voth is the committee secretary. Other members of the committee are Dima Snyder, Dr. James Harder, Greg Denecker, John Rich and Fred Steiner. Council~Ac^a'not^a"cs representative to the committee is Jamie Mehaffie.
The long-term dream envisions a bike and pedestrian pathway that encircles the entire village of Bluffton. Mitch Kingsley, Bluffton council member, said he hopes that this could be completed in 10 years, however, that is being optimistic. The community of Bluffton can benefit in a couple ways through the pathway, Kingsley said.
