BFR hosts senior health-fitness events May 26
Bluffton Family Recreation (BFR) will hold a special senior health and fitness day Wednesday, May 26, according to Carole Enneking, director.
"All events are free and open to seniors age 55 and older," she said. Events take place at four locations:
~Ac^a'not^Ac Bluffton Senior Citizen Center
~Ac^a'not^Ac Maple Crest
~Ac^a'not^Ac Richland Manor
~Ac^a'not^Ac BFR
At the Senior Citizens Center will be Wii bowling challenge from 10 a.m. to noon; miniature golf putting green from 9 to 11 a.m.; and exercise by Joy at 1:30 p.m.
At Maple Crest will be water exercise from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.; music with Jimmy from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.; miniature golf putting green from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Patio Room; and Wii bowling challenge from 3 to 4 p.m.
At Richland Manor will be Wii bowling challenge with the time to be announced soon.
At BFR will be Wii bowling challenge from 8 to 10 a.m., senior nutrition at 11 a.m.; and miniature golf putting green from 1 to 3 p.m.
