Wine and food pairing event at The Inn at ONU June 22
On Tuesday, June 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., The Inn at Ohio Northern University, Ada, will host a wine tasting and food pairing event featuring Ravenhurst Champagne Cellars. This will be held outside at the Inn's garden courtyard.
Ravenhurst Champagne Cellars are award-winning wine makers seriously dedicated to traditional method champenoise champagne and handcrafted wines. Guests will enjoy an evening of fine wine and gourmet food in a relaxed and beautiful setting. The evening's menu includes:
Petite Rouge Champagne
Duck rolls
Brut Noir Champagne
Grilled peaches with a berry coulis
Busch-Harris Chardonnay 2008
Walleye with lemon herb sauce
Busch-Harris Pinot Noir 2007
Slow roasted BBQ baby back ribs
Cabernet Franc 2006
Balsamic and red wine glazed beef tenderloin
Les Corbeaux Quatre (Dessert)
Chiffon Cake with pear compote topped with a Chantilly cream
The wine tasting and food pairing event is $40 per person, plus taxes and 20 percent gratuity. Advance reservation and credit card confirmation is required.
The Inn welcomes meetings, groups, and special events. With over 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, groups as large as 100 people can convene a seminar, meeting, wedding or other special event hosted in the boardroom and beautiful garden courtyard, complete with a central fountain and outdoor seating.
