The Icon and Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio team up with special page
The Bluffton Icon is excited to announce a new venture with Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, according to Fred Steiner of The Icon. Starting today, the Icon has a special page devoted entirely to news and photos of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
"The page may be accessed several ways, and we see it as one additional benefit to Icon viewers," he said.
It may be accessed on the black index bar near the top of the home page. Viewers may click on "News" (next to "Home" on the left and "About" on the right"). When "News" is clicked, scroll down to Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (the 12th listing in alphabetical order) and then click on Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
The new feature includes a separate photo gallery for MHCO. To view those photos, viewers may click on "Photos" on the black index bar near the top of the home page. From there viewers may click on 2010 Icon photos. A separate folder of photos for MHCO is inside the 2010 Icon photo folder.
Once on the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio page, viewers may read any of the stories or view any of the photos related to MHCO. Three advertising links at the top of the page will change from time to time. Each will relate to activities or events of MHCO.
Steiner said that the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio page is the second such page on The Icon. Bluffton University also has a page devoted to its own stories and photos.
Other businesses, institutions or organizations interested in exploring this option through The Icon may e-mail [email protected] for details.
"The new feature is one of several in the planning stages this summer," said Steiner.
