Traditional ER entrance to Bluffton Hospital will close this week
The "traditional" emergency room entrance to the Bluffton Hospital will be closed during construction this week at the hospital.
Other construction plans include:
Concrete blocks are continuing to be laid for walls
Concrete is being poured for the parking lot on the corner of Kibler and Harmon roads. This parking lot will be for associate, volunteer and physician parking.
Completing underground plumbing for the new surgery area
Pouring concrete floors for the new surgery area
Completing the asphalt pull off area for vehicles in front of the temporary Emergency Department entrance
Opening the temporary Emergency entrance between July 7 and July 9 (depending on weather) - watch for a new sign!
Removing the canopy and drive up area of the traditional Emergency Department entrance. This entrance will now be closed.
