Bob Painter shares trip photos at Senior Center August dinner meeting
Bob Painter will share photographs of the Bluffton Senior Citizens trip to Charleston and Savannah during the August Senior Citizens dinner meeting.
The meeting is at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, at the center. Tickets are $7 and must be purchased by Wednesday, Aug. 4.
The meal is catered by Ted's Market of Pandora. The menu includes pulled pork, potato salad, mixed vegetables, applesauce, roll and cheese cake.
Philip Meeks, 90, will be awarded a life time membership at the meeting.
Several other events take place in August at the Center.
Aug. 4 - Blood pressure clinic, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Aug. 5 - Pre-trip meeting to Canadian Rockies via rail, 1:30 p.m. The trip takes place from Aug. 27 to Sept. 4.
Aug. 11 - Hearing clinic, 10 a.m. to noon. Marcus Young of Sound Decisions will handle the screening and will check and clean hearing aids.
Aug. 16 - Bingo with Elmcroft of Lima, 2:30 p.m. Free and open to the public.
