Beaverdam summerfest offers family fun and prizes
The Beaverdam-Richland Fire and Rescue Department will be holding its 56th annual festival from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, at the fire station in Beaverdam.
This is the department's annual fundraiser. Proceeds go toward upgrading equipment and vehicles that the department and community rely on.
Due to the charitable donations of several local businesses there will be free rides for children.
Also, there will be homemade food and a live band, raffle tickets, Bingo and other fun activities for family entertainment.
Any business wishing to assist or donate, may contact any member of the department. Contributions of pies or cakes on the morning of the event will be appreciated.
Raffle tickets will be sold during the event with a grand prize drawing at 9:30 p.m. on the 14. Persons do not need to be present to win. Tickets are available by donation at $1 each or six for $5.
