The first free Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting of 2010-11 is at 7:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 10, in the third floor of the town hall. Jerry Lewis, owner of the Bluffton McDonald's Restaurant, is the speaker.

Other agenda items include:

• recognition of Southgate Lanes bowling alley's 50th anniversary,
• lifetime membership award to Leonard Kingsley who is 90 this year,
• ask the expert - this month's expert is Everett Collier, Bluffton postmaster,
• and recognition of Joanne Bauman, who recently retired and closed the Lamplight Bed and Breakfast.

In addition, members will hear updates on the opening day for Bluffton schools and Bluffton University.

Also on the agenda is a brief update of the Bluffton Hospital construction project and several other updates.
