Five certified school staff receive pay increases
Five certified staff received salary increases as a result of action taken by the Bluffton school board on Sept. 27.
The increases follow: Nicole Anderson (BA to 150 hours); Andy Armstrong (BA+15 to MA), Annie Gill (150 Hrs to MA), Tami Hardy (MA to MA+15) and Kathy Moser (150 Hrs to MA),
New classified contracts were issues to the following:
George Stechschulte, bus driver $14.26 per hour, 4 hours per day; Kathy Bishop, educational aide, $12.06 per hour, 7 hours per day; Daryl Shields, custodian, $13.91 per hour, 8 hours per day.
Resignations were accepted for Deborah Kiene, Renaissance advisor, effective Aug. 1 and Jeff Richards, middle school wrestling, effective immediately.
Two student teacher assignments were approved. Collen Siefker, Bluffton University student, will work with Steve Amstutz and Daniel Smith from Sept. 1 to Dec. 21. Andrea Maidlow, Bluffton University student, will work with Sandy Karhoff from Sept. 1 to Dec. 21.
Jessica Mayberry was issued a contract as Renaissance advisor for $642.
The board accepted a donation of $7,904 from Patriot Concrete, which was used at Harmon Stadium.
