Bluffton High School's girls tennis team is participating in sectional action at UNOH today (Thursday).

Coach Peter Diller's team dropped a close 3-2 decision to Lima Bath Tuesday to finish the season with a 6-9 record. The match wasn't decided until a marathon contest at No. 1 doubles ended with the Wildkittens on top.

Ashlin Gable and Emily Sprague lost for only the second time this season in the deciding match, dropping one set in a tiebreaker and the third set 7-5 after leading 4-1.

Pirate winners were Jess Hunter at No. 1 singles and Kristi Geiser and Shannon Koch at No. 2 doubles, both in straight sets.
