Letter: Vote for player of the week
Wondering if Icon supporters could help out Bluffton University be number one in this voting event?
A play from the Bluffton University volleyball team is part of a play of the week contest... the following is on the University's website which fully explains this. How neat would it be if Bluffton could be this week's winner. This week's voting is over on Wednesday. Bluffton's play is Play #1 on the website.
Vote for Bluffton in AVCA Play of the Week
October 7, 2010
The Bluffton University women's volleyball team is currently featured on the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) website after being nominated for the Play of the Week. The Play of the Week features plays selected from all over the country and spanning across all NCAA divisions. The selected series comes from the October 2 match at conference foe Anderson University and features a sequence in which senior setter Shauna Rowland (Bucyrus/Wynford) keeps the ball in play with a rather unusual dig technique, resulting in a point won for the Beavers on a strong swing from senior right side hitter Allison Streicher (Continental).
Visit the AVCA site linked below to vote for the Beavers this week!
