Business organization honors Bluffton senior
Benjamin Ilnicki, a Bluffton University senior from Indianapolis, Ind., has been named Bluffton's 2010 recipient of the Financial Executives International (FEI) award, as voted by business faculty members.
Presented to an outstanding senior majoring in finance or accounting, the award recognizes a student "who has demonstrated a high level of academic achievement and intellectual honesty, and who possesses high promise for a successful career in business."
Ilnicki, who carries a 3.98 grade point average and plans to graduate in May 2011, is majoring in accounting and business administration, with a concentration in finance. He is also a four-year member of the Bluffton football team-as a wide receiver-and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been a resident advisor and a first-year seminar mentor on campus as well.
The son of Frederick and Marcia Ilnicki and a graduate of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, Ilnicki will receive the award Thursday, Nov. 11, at a dinner hosted by the Toledo Chapter of the FEI.
