Dick Boehr answers the question "Why Bluffton?" during Friday's chamber breakfast
Dick Boehr is this month's speaker at the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The event is at 7:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 12, in the community room of the town hall.
Boehr has been a member of the chamber and the Bluffton Business Men's Association, which eventually became the chamber. He has been in business in Bluffton for over 50 years. His talk title is: "Why Bluffton?"
Events begin at 7 a.m. as Joy Stemen will provide members with free massages. Jonathan Luginbill, Bluffton University music major, will provide instrumental music during that time.
Other portion of the program include an "ask the expert." Jon Kinn, Bluffton fire chief, is this month's expert. Persons attending him may ask him questions related to the fire department.
PromoHits!, owned by Melinda Bowden, will be recognized for celebrating its 10th anniversary earlier this year.
In addition, members will be updated on the chamber business showcase, held Nov. 18, at The Centre, and the Blaze of Lights, held Nov. 27.
Persons interested in addition the free breakfast need to RSVP to [email protected]. During 2010-11 chamber breakfasts are provided by Richland Manor.
